Alastair Cook to remain as skipper for World Cup 2015

England ODI captain Alastair Cook will lead the England team for the ICC World Cup 2015, which starts in February next year, according to The Daily Mail.


The 29-year-old’s position as captain came under scrutiny after loosing the recent home ODI series against India.

Cook has captained in 63 ODIs for his country - scoring 3,085 runs at an average of 37.62.

England to visit Sri Lanka for a seven ODI match series in November before heading to Australia for a tri-series that includes India before the 2015 World Cup.
