Big Bash League: David Warner unavailable this season

Australian Test opener David Warner has announced he will not be playing in the Big Bash League this season, due to hectic international summer schedule.

The 27-year-old, who was a part of the Sydney Thunder last year, has declared he wouldn't be signing any contract with BBL this year, starts December 18 at Adelaide.

"It was obviously a really hard decision because I love playing in the Big Bash," Warner said. "But with a massive summer of international cricket I want to focus on doing the best I can for the Test team and hopefully help us win the World Cup."

Australia to play 5-match ODI series against South Africa followed by Test series against India and the ODI tri-series against England before the ICC world Cup 2015.
