Glamorgan sign Darren Sammy for T20 campaign

English county Glamorgan have signed West Indies Twenty20 skipper Darren Sammy for part of their NatWest T20 Blast campaign.


Sammy, 30, will feature in the first home match of Glamorgan's against Sussex on Friday, The all-rounder he will head home for the Caribbean Premier League, begins on July 11.
Glamorgan head coach Toby Radford said: "Darren is a top-quality T20 player and a fine addition to our dressing room, because he brings with him experience at the highest level."

Sammy is delighted to be a part of T20 Blast, he reacted on Twitter,
Former Windies Test captain has already announced his retirement from the longer format earlier this month, with a wealth of international experience played 38 Tests, 111 one-dayers and 52 T20s.
